Saudi Foreign Minister meets Blankenship, discusses efforts to stop Houthi aggression

US Secretary of State Anthony Blankenship has met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

According to Saudi news agency SPA, the bilateral meeting reviewed the strategic and bilateral historical relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States and discussed ways to further strengthen them.

 The two sides also discussed various issues and developments in regional and international affairs, including security and stability in the Middle East and efforts by the two friendly countries to promote peace in the region.

The meeting also discussed ways to increase joint efforts to prevent Houthi terrorist acts against the Yemeni and brotherly Yemeni people, taking into account issues that could lead to a political solution in Yemen. Obstacles are proving.

The two Foreign Ministers discussed Iran's nuclear program and the ongoing international dialogue in this regard, as well as regional and international developments and efforts in this regard.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also met with his Armenian counterpart in Munich.

According to the SPA, aspects of cooperation and mutual relations in various fields have been reviewed.
