PIA directed to operate special flights to bring Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine

The government of Pakistan has directed the immediate repatriation of Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine.

According to sources, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been directed to operate flights to bring Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine.

Sources said that the Pakistani embassy had instructed Pakistanis in Ukraine to reach the Polish border.

Sources said that PIA has allocated Boeing 777 aircraft for repatriation of Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine and flight schedule will be announced soon.

PIA chief executive officer Arshad Malik said the flight was being prepared and would be sent to Poland as soon as the students arrived.

He said that all possible steps would be taken to repatriate Pakistanis to their homes.

2,000 Pakistani students in Ukraine will be repatriated, sources said

On the other hand, there has been contact between the CEO of PIA and the Pakistani Ambassador to Ukraine.

According to sources, 2,000 Pakistani students in Ukraine will be repatriated, while the Pakistani embassy in Tranpole will transfer all students by land to Poland, from where a Boeing 777 will repatriate the students.

It should be noted that after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, warplanes and tank shelling continued in various cities, including the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

War is raging everywhere, and thousands of Pakistanis, like millions of Ukrainians, are trapped.

Pakistani citizens are stranded in Ukraine and the Pakistani embassy's attitude has exploded.
