A Lahore court on Thursday has conceded break bail to PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and his child Hamza Shahbaz till February 1 in an illegal tax avoidance case and controlled the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from capturing them, Geo News announced.

Judge Aijaz-ul-Hasan of the Special Central Court heard the case and conceded bail to the two government officials in the illegal tax avoidance instance of the sugar outrage, per the report.

Shahbaz's attorney Amjad Pervez let the court know that per the specialist's directions, the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly needs to rest for seven days after the COVID test comes negative as he is a malignant growth patient. He requested that the court broaden the date, to which the court said that Shahbaz should document an appeal assuming he can't come on February 1.
