Head of the state Imran Khan said that the PTI-drove government has made the most strides against defilement in the nation's set of experiences, Geo News revealed Tuesday.

The chief, while leading a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Tuesday, talked about the report delivered by Transparency International as per which Pakistan has slipped further on the association's most recent Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI 2021).

Alluding to the report, the head underlined that the current government has made the most strides against defilement.

Criticizing the Opposition and their analysis, he said that as opposed to confronting defilement cases, "they [the Opposition leaders] escaped the nation and were rationalizing to superfluously postpone legal disputes."

PM Imran Khan added that powerful follow up have been chosen in courts for rapid removal of debasement cases.

Pakistan's position fell 16 spots to 140 from 124 out of 180 nations, Transparency International's report showed Tuesday. In CPI 2021, Pakistan scored 28 out of 100.

"The list, which positions 180 nations and domains by their apparent degrees of public area defilement as indicated by specialists and finance managers, utilizes a size of zero to 100, where zero is exceptionally bad and 100 is extremely perfect," the association said.
